The algebraic form of an arithmetic sequence is 5n+3,
(a) What is its common difference?
(b) Write the sequence.
(c) Is 402, a term of this sequence?​

       n=2 A2=5x2+3=13

   d=A2-A1=13-8=5

b)We already find A1 and A2

A3=5x3+3=18

A4=A3+d=23

A5=A4+d=28

c) 402=5n+3

   399=5n

   n=399/5

But n should be whole number as it signifies no. of terms.Therfore 402 is not the term of sequence
