Given ::-

  • Altitude of triangle = 4 cm.

  • Base of triangle = 2 cm.

To find ::-

  • Area of triangle ?

Formula used ::-

Area =  \dfrac{1}{2} × base × altitude

Solution ::-

Area =  \dfrac{1}{2} × base × altitude

Area =  \dfrac{1}{2} × 2 × 4

Area =  \dfrac{1}{2} × 8

Area = 4 {cm}^{2}

 =  \:  \:  \:  \sqrt{(s - a)(s - b)(s - c)}

Where , s =

s =  \dfrac{a+b+c}{2}
