The altitude of a right angle triangle is 7 cm less than the base x and the hypotrnuse is 13 cm. then find the quadratic representation of this situation

2x^2 -14x + 49 = 289

Base = x
So, altitude = x-7
Hypotenuse = 13cm
So, using Pythagoras theorem
 {x}^{2}  +  {(x - 7)}^{2}  =  {17}^{2}  \\  {x}^{2}  +  {x}^{2}  + 49 - 14x = 289 \\ 2 {x}^{2}  - 14x + 49 = 289
