The altitude of a right triangle is 7cm less that
its base. If the hypotenuse is 13cm, find the other two

take base as X and height as (X-7) and the use pythogoras theorem, you also have to factorise to find x.

when you will get two values of X take the positive one. cause the height cannot be negative.
