The altitude of a triangle is two-third the length of its corresponding base. If the altitude increased by 4 cm and the base decreased by 2cm , the area of the triangle remains the same . Find the base and the altitude of the triangle

get base of triangle =a

attitude of triangle=2a/3

therefore

area \: of \: triangle = 2 \div 3 \times  \ {a}^{2}  \\

according according to question

 (a - 2)(2a \div 3  + 4) = 2 {a}^{2}  \div 3
