The altitudes to the sides AB and AD of a parallelogram ABCD are 5 CM and 20 cm respectively. If the area of the parallogram is 160 sq.cm find its perimeter

Here, AB = 10 cm, DE = 7 cm and BF = 8 cm

Area of parallelogram = base � corresponding height
∴AD � BF = AB � DE
⇒ AD � 8 = 10 � 7

AD=70/8
As =8.75cm
