Answer:

time= 4 sec

charge taken = 12 coulomb

I = Q/T

I=12/4

I=3 A

Hope it helps you

Given: The amount of charge passing through a cell in 4 seconds is 12 C.

To find: The current supply by the cell.

Solution:

The electric current in a conductor is defined as, "The rate of flow of electric charge through a conductor." It is given by the following formula.

I = \frac{q}{t}

Here, I is the electric current, q is the charge in the conductor and t is the time period. In the given question, the cell is the conductor, 12 C is the charge in it and 4 seconds is the time period. The S.I. unit of electric current is ampere (A).

I = \frac{12 C}{4 s}

   = 3 A

Therefore, the current supply by the cell is 3A.
