volume = 250cm³ = 250 ml

Molecular mass of NaOH = 40g

Molarity ,

M \:  \:  =  \frac{w}{M.M. \:  \times  \: V(L)}  \\  \\ w \:  =  \: 1 \:  \times  \: 40 \:  \times  \frac{250}{1000}  \\  \\ w \:  = 40 \times  \frac{1}{4}  \\  \\ w \:  =  \: 10 \: g
