The amount of oxygen varies between exhaled and inhaled...As because when we inhaled the oxygen,it is absorbed by our cells of the body...

The inhaled air contains larger amount of oxygen that is dissolved in the blood and supplied to the different parts of the body for respiration. The exhaled air contains more of carbon dioxide which is received by the blood as a product of respiration. Since the oxygen is utilized, exhaled air contains less oxygen.
