Excess rainfall can cause flooding and enormous property and crop damage. Still, a deficiency of rainfall can cause drought and crop failure. Rainfall is also the major source of energy that drives the circulation of the atmosphere.

In short we can say that :

Rainfall is an important factor excess rainfall can cause flood, drought,soil erosion etc.... Scientists can make the confidence in the future for the amount of rainfall can/can't affect the climate.
