The amount of rainfall in Tamil Nadu is remarkably lower than that in Kerala. Explain.​

Western ghats are our primary source of rainfall. We used to have rainfall thrice in a year. northeast monsoon, northwest monsoon and southwest monsoon three of them were used to pour rain in our lands. British people start cultivated Tea leafs for their business by cutting trees which were doing wonderful job for Tamil Nadu. Trees on those western ghats used to attract rain clouds and during mansoon times and then redirect them towords Tamil nadu. After cutting them, there is nothing to block the winds and rainy clouds and they went to Kerala
