Principal amount, P = 4500rs

Rate of interest, R = 12% per annum, but for 6 months interest will be half, means = 6%, there rate will decrease.

Time, t = 4 year compounded half yearly, here 6 month will be treated as 1 full year, actually time will increase, and we will consider it as 8 years.

We have to find the amount of rupees after 4 years?

A = P ( 1 + \frac{r}{100})ⁿ

= 4500× ( 1 +\frac{6}{100} )⁸

= 4500× ( \frac{53}{50} )⁸

=4500 ×(1.06)⁸

=4500× 1.59384807

=7172.31632
