The ADH (Anti Diuretic Hormone) secreted by posterior lobe of pituitary gland binds the receptors on cells in the collecting ducts of the kidney and promotes reabsorption of water back into the circulation. So,the amount of urine output is under the control of ADH ( Anti Diuretic Hormone ).Hope it helps.
