We know velocity is given as

v= w root(A^2 - x^2)......(i)

Vmax= Aw

Hence half of Vmax is Aw/2

Putting this value in equation (i)-

Aw/2 = w root(A^2- x^2)

On solving for x, we get..

x= (root3)A/2.
