Given info : The amplitude of oscillations of a simple pendulum of period T and length L is increased by 2%.

To find : the new time period of the pendulum will be ..

solution : time period of a simple pendulum is given by

T=2\pi\sqrt{\frac{l}{g}}

here you see time period of a simple pendulum only depends on the length of pendulum and acceleration due to gravity. it doesn't depend on the amplitude of oscillations.

  so the time period of the simple pendulum remains same, if amplitude is increased by 2%.

therefore the correct option is (c) T.
