The ancient civilization in indian sub-continent differed from those of egypt, mesopotamia and greece in that its culture and traditions have been preserved without a breakdown to the present day.

This can be analyzed in the following perspectives.

India has preserved some of its culture as well as some social systems for so many years and this is not evident in Egypt, Mesopotamia and greece

Activities such as slavery and the extrusion of the social outcasts in the community was not being practiced in india and this made India to be still stable unlike these others which has fallen down due to these vices.
