Step-by-step explanation:

Angle sum property says all angles of triangle are equal to 180°

Therefore equation becomes

2x+7x+11x=180°

20x=180°

x=180/20

x=9°

The angles are

2x=2×x=2×9°=18°

7x=7×x=7×9°=63°

11x=11×x=11×9°=99°

Given :

The angles of triangles in ratio of 2:7:11

To Find :

The measure of three angles

Sølution :

• The Angle Sum Property of triangle is 180° .

Now , let the angle be " x " .

=> 2x + 7x + 11x = 180°

=> 20x = 180°

=> x = \sf \dfrac{180°}{20}

=> x = 9°

Value of x is 9°

Now , measure of three angles are :

• 2x = 2(9) = 18°

• 7x = 7(9) = 63°

• 11x = 11(9) = 99°

Verification :

= Angle 1 + Angle 2 + Angle 3 = 180°

= 18° + 63° + 99° = 180°

= 180° = 180°

— LHS = RHS , Hence Proved .
