At Axial Position:

  • The net field intensity is directed in the direction of the dipole moment.

  • So, the angle between them is 0°.

At Equatorial Position:

  • The direction of field intensity is directed opposite to the dipole moment at any equatorial position.

  • So, angle between them is 180°.
