we know that normal makes an angle 90° with the plane mirror( that is why it is called normal lol)

so incident ray is somewhere between normal and plane mirror

so if incident ray makes an angle 47° with the plane mirror,the rest of the angle is which the incident ray makes with the normal(which is called the angle of incidence)

As the total angle is 90,the angle incident ray makes with the normal(i.e,angle of incidence) = 90-47 = 43°

as we know that angle of incidence = angle of reflection

angle of reflection also = 43°
