Answer:

Angle between the hands of the clock at 5:30 = 15°

Answer c. 15 degrees

Step-by-step explanation:

Formula

Speed of hour hand = 0.5 degrees/min

Speed of minute hand = 6 degrees/min

Their relative speed = 6–0.5 =5.5 degrees/min

At 5.30 mins , angle of :

Hour Hand(HH) : 30x5 +( 0.5x30 )= 165 degrees

Minute Hand(MH) : 30x6=180 degrees

So , right now (at 5:30 ) MH is ahead of HH by 15 degrees already

Answer:15 degrees

Step-by-step explanation:

every 60 minutes the hour hand of the clock moves by 30 deg

so for 30 min  it moves by 15 deg (unitary method)

so the min hand covers 180 degrees (30 min)

and the hour hand covers 150(at 5)+15(small increase we calculated )

so angle between them is 180-165= 15 deg

hope u understand
