Answer:

(i) √3x-y+3=0

(ii) x+y-2√3=0

Step-by-step explanation:

(i) formula used=

                 y=mx+c where c= 3, m=tan60

  = tan60 =√3,

  = y=√3x+3,

  =√3x-y+3=0

(ii) similarly like first one u can try the second one taking c=2 and m=tan150

HINT: tan 150= tan(180-30)

                        = -tan30

Given : the angle made by the straight line with the positive x axis in the positive direction and the y intercept cut off by it are given

(i) 60 deg,3

(ii) 150 deg,2

To Find : Equation of line

Solution:

y = mx + c

is slope intercept form

c is y intercept

m = slope = tanθ    where θ  is the angle made by the straight line with the positive x axis in the positive direction

(i) 60 deg,3

m = tan60° = √3

c = 3

y = √3x + 3

(ii) 150 deg,2

m = tan150° = -1/√3

c = 2

=> y = -x/√3  + 2

=> √3y = -x  + 2√3

=> x + √3y = 2√3
