The angle of a triangle are (x-40) (x-20) and (1/2x -10) then find the value of x

let 1/2x be 0.5x

=(x-40)+(x-20)+(0.5x-10)=180
=x-40+x-20+0.5x-10=180
=x+x+0.5x=180+40+20+10
=2.5x=250
=x=250/2.5
=x=100

so,(x-40)=100-40=60degree
(x-20)=100-20=80degree
(0.5x-10)=(100×0.5)-10
=50-10=40degree
