The angle of a triangle are x,y and 40°.
The difference between the two angles x andy
is 30°. Find -x and y.​

Answer:

40+x+y=180 (Angle sum property)

x+y=140

x-y=30

by elimination method

2x=170

x=85

x+y=140

85+y=140

y=140-85

y=55

x=85 and y=55
