The angles are x, y and 40

ATQ x-y=30

By asp of triangle

x+y+40 =180

x+y=140

So equation are

x+y=140

x-y=30

By elimination method

2x=170

x=85

y=55

Answer:

x=65 y=75

Step-by-step explanation:

The sum of inferior angles of a triangle is 180 degrees

One of them is 40 degree

Given :(x+40)-y=30

x+40-y=30

x=30-40+y

x=-10+y

180=y+40+(y-10)

=30+2y

2y=180-30

=150

y. =75

y=75

x=y-10

=75-10

=65
