SOLUTION

Let the height of the pole (AB)=h m

Length of the electric pole (AC)=10m

Let the angle of elevation be theta

In ∆ABC,

tan \theta = \frac{AB}{AC} \\ \\ = > tan \theta = \frac{h}{10} \\ \\ = > tan60 \degree = \frac{h}{10} \\ \\ = > \sqrt{3} = \frac{h}{10} \\ \\ = > h = 10 \sqrt{3} \\ \\ = > h = (10 \times 1.732)m \\ \\ = > h = 17.32m

hope it helps ☺️
