From the figure attached in the picture.

In ∆BCD
Apply Tan45°
we get Tan45° = x/20
=> x = 20m
Now In ∆ ACD
Tan60° = y+x/20
=> √3 = y/20+1
=> y/20 = √3-1
=> y = 20(√3-1)
