 \tan(45)  =  \frac{building \: hight}{distance}  \\  =  > 1 =  \frac{50m}{distance}  \\  =  > distance = 50m

Answer:

Let AB be the building of height 50cm

and let CB be the distance from the foot of the building ( Xcm )

perpendicular/base = cot 45°

solve it....
