The angle of elevation of the top of a hill at the foot of a tower is 60degree and the angle of depression form the top of tower to the Foot of hill is 30degree.If tower is 50m high, find the height of the hill.

here is your ans let the distance between tower and hill is x by using
tan30=50/x
tan 30 =



1 \div  \sqrt{3}
there fore x=
50 \times  \sqrt{3}
let hright of hill =y
therefore
tan60=y/x
tan60 =  \sqrt{ 3}  and \: x = 50 \times  \sqrt{3}
therefore y=50×3= 150
height of hill is equal to 150 meter
