The angle of elevation of the top of a tower 150 meters away was found out to be 30° . Find the
height of the tower.​

Let the height of the tower be h

angle of elevation = <A = 30°

AB = 150m

tanA = BC / AB

tan30° = h / 150

1/√3 = h/150

h = 150/√3

h = 150√3/ 3

h = 50√3
