The angle of elevation of the top of a tower from a point on the ground, which is 45 m away from the foot of the tower, is 60°. Find the height of the tower.

Let the height of tower be 'h' m.

Now, in △ABC,

⇒tan45°= AB/BC = h/30

⇒1= h/30

⇒h=30m

Hence, the answer is 30m.
