Solution: Here; b = 30 m, angle of elevation = 30° and p = ?
hi
tan θ=pbtan θ=pb

Or, tan 30°=p30tan 30°=p30

Or, 1√3=p3013=p30

Or, p=30√3p=303

=30√3×√3√3=10√3=303×33=103

Thus, height of the tower is 10√3103 m

I hope it help you

angle of elevation=30 degree

let the distance between tower and the point be AB=30m

Let the height of tower be BC('h'm)

In triangle ABC, angle B=90 degree

tan30=BC/AB

1/root3=BC/30

30/root3=h

h=10root3

therefore height of the tower is 10root 3
