∠ADB and ∠ACB are the complementary angles.
If ∠ADB = x, then ∠ACB = 90 – x
In ∆ADB,

In ∆ABC,

Multiplying (1) and (2),
(AB)2 = ab
AB = √ab
Height of tower = AB = √ab
Hence proved.
