Let h be height of flagstaff
And 120m is distance between point A and tower
As angle is 45 degrees then
tan45=height of tower/120
height of tower= 120 m
So,
tan 60= h+120/120
h=120(1.73-1)
h=87.6 m
Height of flagstaff is 87.6 m.
And 120m is distance between point A and tower
As angle is 45 degrees then
tan45=height of tower/120
height of tower= 120 m
So,
tan 60= h+120/120
h=120(1.73-1)
h=87.6 m
Height of flagstaff is 87.6 m.
