p/b=tan45°
p/x=1/1
cross multiply
we get p=x..........(1)
In tri.ABC
p/b=tan30°
p/x+20=1/root3
cross multiply
we get p=x+20/root3........(2)
comparing (1) and(2)
x/1=x+20/root3
cross multiply
we get root3x- x=20
x(root3-1)=20
x=20/root3-1 = 20/1.732-1=20/0.732
=27.32 ans.
