we know the relation between angle of polarisation and refractive index of medium is given by, $\mu=tani_p$

given, $i_p=60^{\circ}$

so, $\mu=tan60^{\circ}$

$\implies\mu=\sqrt{3}$

now, the relation between refractive index and critical angle is ..

$\mu=\frac{1}{sinC}$

or, $\sqrt{3}=\frac{1}{sinC}$

or, $sinC=\frac{1}{\sqrt{3}}$

hence, C = $sin^{-1}\frac{1}{\sqrt{3}}$

hence, critical angle is $sin^{-1}\frac{1}{\sqrt{3}}$
