we know the relation between angle of polarisation and refractive index of medium is given by, \mu=tani_p

given, i_p=60^{\circ}

so, \mu=tan60^{\circ}

\implies\mu=\sqrt{3}

now, the relation between refractive index and critical angle is ..

\mu=\frac{1}{sinC}

or, \sqrt{3}=\frac{1}{sinC}

or, sinC=\frac{1}{\sqrt{3}}

hence, C = sin^{-1}\frac{1}{\sqrt{3}}

hence, critical angle is sin^{-1}\frac{1}{\sqrt{3}}
