The angle of repose is the steepest angle at which dry, unconsolidated sediment is stable. You create a conical pile of sand that is as steep as you can make it. The pile is 11 cm high and has a radius of 16 cm. What is the angle of repose of this sand?

The Angle of repose is the angle made by the slanting edge of the cone with the horizontal.
The Tangent of angle = height of the pile / radi16.of the conical pile at the base.
Tan θ = 11/16.
θ = 34.5 degrees.
Hope you know trigonometry.
