Step-by-step explanation:

3x-2+2x+2+10x+120=180

3x+2x+10x=60

15x=60

x=4

10(x+12)=10(16)=160

second angle=10

third angle=10

AnswEr :

S U MA N G L EP R O P E R T Y :

  • Angle sum property of a triangle says that Sum of all angles of a triangle is equal to 180°.

↠ 3x – 2 + 2(x + 1) + 10(x + 12) = 180°

↠ 3x – 2 + 2x + 2 + 10x + 120 = 180°

↠ 15x + 120° = 180°

↠ 15x = 180° – 120°

↠ 15x = 60°

↠ x = ⁶⁰⁄₁₅

x = 4

∴ The Value of 'x' is 4.

A N G L E S⠀O F⠀T R I A N G L E :

  • First angle = (3x – 2)° = 3(4) – 2) = 12 – 2 = 10°
  • Second angle = 2(x + 1)° = 2(4 + 1) = 2(5)° = 10°
  • Third angle = 10(x + 12)° = 10(4 + 12)° = 10(16)° = 160°

∴ Hence, the largest angle of the triangle is Option ( c ) 160° respectively.
