Given :- The angle subtended by an arc of length 20 cm at the centre of circle when radius is 14 cm is ?

Solution :-

as we know ,

  • Angle at centre (in radian) = length of arc / radius of circle.

So,

→ Angle at centre (in radian) = 20/14 = (10/7) radian .

now, we know,

  • π radian = 180° .

So,

(22/7) radian = 180°

→ 1 radian = 180 * (7/22)

→ (10/7) radian = {(180 * 7) / 22} * (10/7) = (1800/22) = (900/11) = 81.81° .

Hence, angle at centre is 81.81° .
