let the angle be x
let it supplement be =(180-x)
let its complement be =(90-x)
according to the question
3(90-x)=180-x
270-3x=180-x
x=45

180 - x = 3 (90-x)
180 - x = 270 - 3x
3x - x = 270 - 180
2x = 90
