Let the angle be x : 5x : 3x

  • Total angle of triangle = 180°

x + 5x + 3x = 180

9x = 180

x = 180/9 = 20 . x = 20°

Now, x = 20° , 5x = 5×20 = 100° and 3x = 3×20 = 60°

The smallest angle is 20°

  \huge{\boxed{ \tt{Solution :)}}}

Given ,

The angles of a ∆ in the ratio 1 : 5 : 3

Let ,

The angles of triangle are 1x , 5x and 3x

As we know that , the sum of interior angles of any triangle ∆ is 180

Thus ,

1x + 5x + 3x = 180

9x = 180

x = 180/9

x = 20

Therefore , the smallest angle of ∆ is 20
