QUESTION :- The angles in a linear pair are (x-20)° and (2x+50)°. Find the value of x.

ANSWER :-

The sum of angles in a linear pair is 180°.

So Angle A + Angle B = 180°

ATQ =>>

(x-20)° + (2x+50)° = 180°

x + 2x - 20° + 50° = 180°

3x + 30° = 180°

3x = 180° - 30°

3x = 150°

x =  \frac{150}{3} °

x = 50°

Hence the value of x is 50°.
