Step-by-step explanation:

2x+3x+5+4x-14=180°

9x-9=180

9x=189

x=21°

first angle=2x=42°

second angle=3x+5=68

third angle=4x-14=70

✯Given✯

➝ Angles of Triangle

➝  (2x)° ,  (3x+5)° , (4x - 14)°

✬To find✬

➝ The value of x

➝ The measure of each angle

✭Solution✭

We know that in a Triangle, the sum of all the angles (3angles) will be equal to 180°.       (Angle Sum Property)

2x + 3x + 5 + 4x - 14 = 180°

 9x - 9 = 180°

 9x = 180° + 9

 x =  ¹⁸⁹° ⁄₉

➺  x° = 21°

✭The value of x is 21✭

✬Measure of each angle✬

  • 2x° = 2 × 21 = 42°
  • 3x + 5° = 3 × 21 + 5 = 68°
  • 4x - 14°  = 4 × 21 - 14 = 70°

⇾ ∴ The measure of the three angles are 42° , 68° , 70°

⇾ We can verify by adding all the three angles, they will be equal to 180°

⇾ 42° + 68° + 70° = 180°

⇾ 180° = 180°
