Question:

The angles of a quadrilateral are in AP whose common difference is 10°. Find the angles.

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Solution:

Common difference = 10º

Define x:

Let x be the smallest angle

The other angles are (x + 10), ( x + 20) and (x + 30)

Solve x:

The sum of all the angles in a quadrilateral is 360º

x + (x + 10) + (x + 20) + (x + 30) = 360

x + x + 10 + x + 20 + x + 30 = 360

4x + 60 = 360

4x = 300

x = 75º

Find the angles:

x = 75º

x + 10 = 75 + 10 = 85º

x + 20 = 75 + 20 = 95º

x + 30 = 75 + 30 = 105º

Answer: The angles are 75º, 85º, 95º and 105º

wantedvelan: thx bestie
TooFree: :)
wantedvelan: very helpful
wantedvelan: how you find that it is not April it is ap
wantedvelan: tell bro
TooFree: AP means that the there is a constant difference of 10º between one angle to the next.
TooFree: smallest angle = 75º, next one will be (75 + 10 = 85º) and next one will be (85 + 10 = 95º) and the last one will be (95 + 10 = 105º)
wantedvelan: OK thanks bro please answer what I ask any time thanks for your help be take care bye
