Sum of all the angles in a quadrilateral = 360°

Let the angles be 3x , 5x , 2x , 8x

∴ 3x + 5x + 2x + 8x = 360°

⇒ 18x = 360°

⇒ x = 360/18

⇒ x = 20°

Therefore, the angles of the quadrilateral are =

3x = 3×20 = 60°

5x = 5×20 = 100°

2x = 2×20 = 40°

8x = 8×20 = 160°

So, the smallest angles is 40°
