  • GIVEN:-

The angles of a triangle are (2x)°, (3x+5)° and (4x – 14)º.

  • To Find:-

Find the value of x and the measure of each angle of the triangle.

  • SOLUTION:-

We know that the sum of all angles of a triangle is 180°.

According to the question,

\large\Longrightarrow{\sf{(2x)+(3x+5)+(4x-14)=180\degree}}

\large\Longrightarrow{\sf{2x+3x+5+4x-14=180}}

\large\Longrightarrow{\sf{9x-9=180}}

\large\Longrightarrow{\sf{9x=180+9}}

\large\Longrightarrow{\sf{x=\huge\frac{189}{9}}}

\huge\red\therefore\boxed{\sf{\red{x=21}}}

So the angles are:-

  • 2x = 2 × 21 = 42°
  • (3x + 5) = 3 × 21 + 5 = 68°
  • (4x - 14) = 4 × 21 - 14 = 70°

\large\blue\therefore\boxed{\sf{\blue{The\: angles \:are \:42\degree,\: 68\degree,\: 70\degree}}}
