Answer:

3x+ 2x-7 + 4x-2 = 180°

9x-9 = 180°

9x= 189°

x= 31°

hope it helps you

Given :

The angles of a triangle

A ( 3x )

B ( 2x-7 )

C ( 4x - 2 )

To find :

The value of x

Solution :

We know that ,

The sum of the sides of the triangle is always equal to 180°

Here We will sum up all the sides of the triangle and equate it with 180° , So that we could find the value of x.

» 3x + 2x - 7 + 4x - 2 = 180°

Now , group the variables and consonants separately ,

( 3x + 2x + 4x ) + ( -7 -2 ) = 180°

9x - 9 = 180°

Divide the whole equation by 9 ,

x - 9 = 20

» x = 20 + 9 = 29 °

Therefore x takes the value 29° .

For further information we can even substitute the value of x over the unknown values of triangle.

1) 3x = 3(29) = 87°

2) 2x - 7 = 2(29) -7 = 58 - 7 = 51°

3) 4x - 2 = 4(29)-2 = 116 - 2 = 114°

Thus we have arrived the values of unknown angles in a triangle .
