The 3 angles of a triangle are:

  • (4x + 7)°
  • (2x - 17)°
  • (2x - 10)°

Since, the angles given is for triangle,

By Angle Sum property;

Their sum would be equal to 180°

(4x + 7)° + (2x - 17)° + (2x - 10)° = 180°

4x + 7 + 2x - 17 + 2x - 10 = 180°

8x - 20 = 180°

8x = 180° + 20°

8x = 200°

x = 200° ÷ 8

x = 25°

Now for finding the angles,

★ (4x + 7)° = 4(25) + 7 = 100 + 7 = 107°

★ (2x - 17)° = 2(25) - 17 = 50 - 17 = 33°

★ (2x - 10)° = 2(25) - 10 = 50 - 10 = 40°

The angles of the triangle are 107°, 33°, 40°

Verification:

When we add all the 3 angles, we must get 180°

107° + 33° + 40° = 180°

180° = 180°

LHS = RHS
