Question :-

The angles of a triangle are in ratio 1:2:3. find the angles.

Solution :-

Let the angles be,

  • 1x
  • 2x
  • 3x

we know that,

In a triangle sum of all the angles is 180°

So,

1x + 2x + 3x = 180°

6x = 180

x = 180/6

x = 30

substituting value of x to find the measure of angles,

1x = 1 x 30 = 30°

2x = 2 x 30 = 60°

3x = 3 x 30 = 90°

Answer:

1x = 30° ( first angle )

2x = 2(30)° = 60° ( second angle )

3x = 3(30)°=90° ( third angle )

Step-by-step explanation:

Let x be any variable,

1:2:3 = 1x : 2x : 3x

sum of the interior angles of a triangle is 180°

1x+2x+3x = 180°

6x=180°

x=180°/6

x=30°

So, 1x = 30°, 2x = 2(30)° = 60° , 3x = 3(30)°=90°
