The angles of a triangle are in the ratio 2 : 3 : 4. Find the angles.​

To find : measure of angles .

Given :  angles of a triangle are in the ratio $2 : 3 : 4$ .

Solution :  

• Let , measure of angles in ratio  be $2x ,3x,4x$ .
• According to angle sum property we know that sum of measure of all three angles is $180$° .

• Therefore on applying angle sum property o triangle , we get value of $x$ .

        $2x+ 3x +4x =180 \\9x =180 \\x = 20$

• Now , substituting value of $x$ to find measurement of angles .

        $2x = 2\times 20 = 40$°

        $3x = 3\times 20 =60$°

        $4x =4\times 20 = 80$°

Hence,  measure of angles of triangle is , $40$° ,$60$° ,$80$° .
