Let the angles be 2x,3x and 4x. Then,

2x+3x+4x= 180°

=> 9x= 180°

=> x= 20°.

2x= 2×20°= 40°.

3x=3×20°=60°.

4x= 4×20°= 80°.

Hence 4x is the largest angle of the triangle.

GIVEN:

The ratio of the angles = 2:3:4

Let each ratio be x

Then the angles are 2x, 3x and 4x

We know that,

Sum of all angles in a triangle = 180°

According to the problem,

2x + 3x + 4x = 180

=> 9x = 180

=> x = 180/9

=> x = 20

First angle = 2x = 40°

Second angle = 3x = 60°

The third angle = 4x = 80°

Therefore, the angles are 40°, 60° and 80°.
